Ms. Isabelle Bébéar has been appointed as non-executive Vice President at the Board of Directors of the Hellenic Development Bank of Investments SA (HDBI, ex TANEO).
Ms. Bébéar is Director, Head of International & European Affairs at Bpifrance, the French Public Investment Bank (former CDC Enterprises).
The Deputy Minister of Development and Investments, Mr. Ioannis Tsakiris, stated:
“The need for proper and modern corporate governance is imperative nowadays especially in organizations like HDBI. Isabelle’s election to the Board of Directors as Vice President, considering her international experience in positions of responsibility held at the French Development Bank together with her exposure in best management practices, will significantly enhance and add to the development path of HDBI and will contribute decisively towards achieving the goals of strengthening entrepreneurship we have set for HDBI”.

Isabelle Bébéar joined Bpifrance, the French Public Investment Bank, (formerly CDC Enterprises) in 2001. She is currently Director, Head of International & European Affairs. Before she was Head of Business Development and support for SMEs and Head of Investments in French regional private equity funds, French seed and VC funds, and South-Mediterranean countries, with nearly €300m under management. Isabelle previously worked in the pharmaceutical industry, as international human resources manager. Isabelle graduated from the Institut Supérieur de Gestion (International business school). She attended the Cycle des Hautes Etudes Européennes, CHEE, at ENA (National School of Administration). Isabelle is also President of the Management Board of Euromed Capital Association. She is a director on the board of Proparco (AFD Group) and a member of its Audit and Risks Committee. Knight of the National Order of Merit since 2014.
